Indian equities extended gains for the fourth consecutive session on Monday, led by strong buying in auto and metal stocks.

At 12:30 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 81048.22 up by 337.46 points or by 0.42 % and then NSE Nifty was at 24831 up by 90 points or by 0.36 %.

Sensex touched intraday high of 81052.42 and intraday low of 80765.53 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 24845.7 and intraday low of 24758.5

The top gainers of the BSE Sensex pack were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Rs. 3696.85,+3.80%), Tata Motors Ltd. (Rs. 715.70,+3.45%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (Rs. 1355.50,+2.54%), Tata Steel Ltd. (Rs. 171.20,+2.12%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (Rs. 15190.00,+1.92%), among others.

The top losers of the BSE Sensex pack were Nestle India Ltd. (Rs. 1196.20,-1.12%), Asian Paints Ltd. (Rs. 2558.30,-0.80%), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (Rs. 751.55,-0.75%), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (Rs. 3029.00,-0.64%), Infosys Ltd. (Rs. 1436.05,-0.57%), among others.
