Afcom Holdings Ltd has announced a strategic partnership with Air India SATS Airport Services (AISATS), a leading gateway and cargo handling services operator, to support freighter operations at the upcoming Noida International Airport.
AISATS, through its wholly owned special purpose vehicle AISATS Noida Cargo Terminal Private Limited (ANCTPL), plans to position Noida International Airport as North India’s premier cargo gateway. The initiative is aimed at complementing existing hubs such as Delhi and Mumbai while advancing India’s ambition to become a global trade powerhouse.
Delhi currently handles the highest air cargo tonnage among Indian airports for both exports and imports. The tie-up offers Afcom a foothold in India’s largest air cargo market and represents a major step in strengthening the country’s cargo ecosystem.
According to the companies, the collaboration will combine AISATS’ world-class infrastructure expertise with Afcom’s expanding international freighter network to enhance capacity and efficiency in the region’s air freight sector.
